Fire in the Hollywood Hills

LAFD has the fire contained, but I would imagine they would prefer people staying away from the Hollywood sign and the environs.

We were on the 118 freeway about an hour after it started and the plume of smoke was easily seen way up where we were.

We saw video of this fire on the news last night. It would have been terrible if the sign was burned down.
