Tell Me About The Zaandam

We are sailing on the Zaandam to Alaska (inside passage) September 11th. We have our shore excursions pretty well fiqured out but we have never been on a Hal ship or to Alaska. What kind of daily activities do they have on board? what are things aboard this ship not to be missed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also traveling with an 18yr old - will she be bored?

You will find that there won't be as many activities on an Alaskan cruise as there is on a Caribbean cruise.

Mainly because the ships tend to be in ports longer and while cruising there is so much to see.

Thanks for the info it makes since that activities would be limited on an Alaskan Cruise. Does anyone have copies of menu's we could look at?

Check the Maasdam menus posted on this board by Peaches, they will be very similar if not the same. They probably will have some Alaskan specialties on the menu...jean
