Back from the American Queen Cruise

We had a family reunion on the American Queen 3 night cruise from New Orleans to Baton Rouge and back.

New Orleans was great (food and entertainment). We had a lot of fun before, during and after. It is a different pace than the regular cruise (slow and nice). It does not replaces HAL but it was a good change.

Hi Yonnie and Joe,

The kids love it, we close the dance floor twice. In fact everybody was having so much fun the last night that I end up hiring the band to stay longer.

At this point we do not know when our next cruise is. I run short of vacation time at work, need to build it up. OOHHH how I wish I was retired......

Thanks for the update on your AQ cruise. I'm glad you all had a good time. Can't wait for our 4 day in Oct with 2 days in New Orleans before and another 2 after. I sure understand the vacation day limit. We couldn't use their 3 night free hotel deal because it would have meant using another vacation day (i.e. leave on Fri or come home on Mon).
