Thanks Queen of Adventure, I have always enjoyed your review of the food thru pictures and of course your other pictures. You do such a great job, looking forward to seeing the rest and comparing it to our Oosterdam Alaska in May.

I noted in your last picture a horse. We cruised the O two weeks ago and we seen four dogs but no horse. Did you have the stable next to the suite?
Lol.

JerryI wish, Jerry!:p Then I'd be able to bring my three horses with me and I'd NEVER get off the ship:D

That's my baby girl, Mayzie Gracie She's a yearling, and she was born to us from my best friend, her mama. I put pictures of her everywhere:o

Queen of Adventure,

Thank you so much for your wonderful photographs from the Oosterdam. They're helpful in that they give us a visual idea of what the inside of the ship looks like! Keep 'em coming!

GOOD WORK.

:) Alaska

Loved the pictures. Reminded us of our back-to-back cruises in Alaska last year.

That capsule looking thing in the gym - I think it is some kind of an aroma-therapy machine. Neither of us has ever seen anyone use the machine.

:)

Hi, I spend 90 minutes in the Gym 5 mornings and there definitely was not that capsule looking thing there. Is it a massage lounger?:confused:It's called an ALPHA CAPSULE. I believe it incorporates mechanical massagers with heat, aroma, and sound.

All
My wife was the person who was chosen to "model" all of the neat stuff in the Oosterdam's spa area including the capsule. She said it was great as well as the sea wrap! Glad she got to model it as the price for all of that was $$$ more than I could go for! Queen: Good looking horse!

Beautiful pictures! Were you onboard for the "Abraham" workshop July 3-10? Just thought that might be it due to your description. We were there & it is interesting how you notice different things--and can see the cruise in a whole new way viewing someone else's pictures! Yours are the best I've seen & the most detail! Thanks for posting them. Shari

Great photos Queen thanks for taking the time and sharing them with us. I am looking forward to seeing the rest. We have been in a few suites on HAL and we are in one again on this up and coming cruise, but my sister has not been in one and so I am forwarding these shots to her.

It looks like you had a really great time....

AhnaliraAhnalira,
Have you seen the website http://whatanicewebsite.com/faces/index.html
It has some links to other's pictures from that cruise--like I said, none are as detailed or beautiful as yours. If you click on David Gordon's name on the left side, you can e-mail him & he will link your pictures to that page so that others interested in Abraham can experience the cruise even though they were not able to attend. I'm loving your pictures--it brings back all the good feelings from the cruise! Shari

After just finishing crappy leftovers, I took a look at your pictures. Oh, that beef (it was Prime Rib and just the way I like it - RARE) was to die for. Made my mouth water. :D

You certainly do take wonderful pictures and I have enjoyed every one of them and also your reviews.

Do hope the back is healing. That was a nasty fall you took from the horse on your last cruise. It's been a long haul, hasn't it!

Take care of yourself which I know you are doing with all your physical therapy.

Do hope the back is healing. That was a nasty fall you took from the horse on your last cruise. It's been a long haul, hasn't it!

Take care of yourself which I know you are doing with all your physical therapy.Slowly and surely... It definitely took charge of 'my world' for a few months! I am moving better and better now, though, and by the end of next month I'll be able to drive again and ride horses again (at a very careful walk;) ). I am very fortunate. The fracture turned out to be a 'burst' vertebre, and I am told by my doctor that it is a small miracle it remained stable while I got myself from the interior of Belize back to the cruise ship on my own steam PLUS the x-rays are already starting to show some bone regeneration which is VERY good news:D

Thanks for your good thoughts:)

These are the best cruise pics I have ever seen. Thanks for taking so much time taking them, describing them, and posting them. I don't know what you do for a living, but you could surely use this talent somehow!!!

I love the fact that you loved to photograph the food, glorious food! I can't wait for my next cruise in about 3 weeks on the Maasdam, and then for my second time on the Oo in November. By the way, I saw some parts of the Oo in your pictures that I didn't see when I was on her this past January. You definitely have a wonderful "eye" for art.

Thank you again for the detailed review and pictures!!!

Once again, I have to compliment you as well, Queen. Sadly I'll not see that Penthouse or even your suite, but I'll be perfectly happy with my mini-verandah. The food pictures are extraordinary ... the Alaska pictures make me almost change my mind about going there ... and the pictures of the ship just make me count the days all the more.

And, Dee, looks like we're on the same cruise!!!!:)

I just want to thank you so much for the titles and pictures, they were wonderful and informative. I am going on Oosterdam first of the year and I have been wondering how much difference there was from the Veendam and the Rydam. You answered a whole bunch of them. Is the bar on the other side of the dressing room? Thanks again for all your work. It was greatly appreciated by many. Sandiz
