Veendam bathrooms

Sailing on the Veendam May 9. We have a Veranda room, B150. I am wondering if the bathrooms have adequate storage and shelves, or if I need to take one of those over the door shoe bags that everyone recommends. I don't want to pack ANYTHING that I won't use.

LeslieHow are we to know what's "adequate" for you? :) DW and I have never needed any additional door-hanging bag on any ship. On the Veendam we didn't have a B cabin, and we had a small corner cabinet and a shelf under the sink that was sufficient for us.

If you have had "space" problems in the past, I suggest you bring something light, cheap, and disposable. :)

We have been in B154 and the bathroom is really OK. Not as big as the Volendam B cabins but big enough. I think I recall a shelf under the sink which is where we store most everything. If it gets crowded, I keep my makeup bag in a drawer by the mirrored desk/vanity.. That saves a lot of room;):D .
You will like B150 as it's right across from the laundry room. No problem with noise there as far as our cruise was concerned. They lock it at night so that there is nobody going in and out. Very convenient if you want to do your laundry!

We were on the Veendam a few weeks ago. Here is a photo of the vanity area in B145. No shelf under the sink, just the corner cabinet. There was not as much storage space in the bathroom as there was on the Zaandam (mind you we were two women sharing a bathroom!)

There was no storage space in the bathroom of our Cabin. Thee was enough room for a make-up bage tooth brush (s) and paste.
