We went to the Museum of Radio and Television (Broadcasting) today. It's on 52 between 5th and 6th Avenues. We've never been there before and it is fabulous. They have a library where you can sit at a computer and call up any T.V. or radio show you want to see or hear. Then you go to a viewing station and you can view the shows. We saw old Milton Berle shows, heard Baby Snooks(I guess that dates me) and listened to War of The Worlds. We were there for over three hours and will go back many times. For those of you who have seen the usual tourist attractions in NY, this is a must visit. The museum doesn't open until noon because they run educational shows in the morning.

For an old TV nut like me , that place is a gold mine. I have been there several times and it is just amazing the catlog of programs they have for viewing.

Like you said , they have some of the real oldies, but they are still better than most of the crap they have on today.

Yes, it does date you. Did they have any pictures of Fanny?

Actually, since that was a radio show, I listened to it, but didn't ask anywhere for pictures of her. Next time I go, I'll do that and see if there is anything on T.V. It's a place we will be going to time and again. We just loved it.
