Hello all, we are thinkgin about the southern caribbean wayfarer that goes to Martinique and St. Lucia. I've read St. Lucia is a great place to whale watch, but with such a short port time (8-2) we want to do a ship excursion for that....unfortunately I don't see that activity offered on HAL's website.....is that updated, or does this line not do that activity?

"Whale watching excursion through ship"

I suppose that going on an excursion through [the] ship looking for whales would snag a bunch ... certainly out by the lido deck pool, midships. They also tend to beach themselves up on the sports deck in deck chairs, as well as down around the promenade.

Post over on the Ports of Call boards and you should get recommendations of local tour companies who can insure you get back on time...

Funny, Greg. Very funny. And a big help, too, I'm sure.

So there aren't any whale watching tours available as ship shore excursions?

There weren't any offered for those ports on our recent Maasdam cruises.
