I heard that Holland America has a bus for Florida passengers desiring to travel to the cruise ship by motor transportation rather then by driving.
Does anyone have any info as to how or whom to contact for this service?.
I understand there is a stop somewhere in Orlando and one at the coast,
I would appreciate any info.
THanks.

I've heard of people using something called the Homeport Motorcoach Program to/from NYCity, but never something similar for Tampa or Fort Lauderdale ports. I would also be very interested in such a bus service if it exists. :) You could try calling Ship Services at 800-541-1576.

Betty - This works pretty well, they are nice busses and drivers, but be prepared to pick up and drop off other passengers.

I've taken the Cruise Connection bus from the west coast of FL to Ft Lauderdale many times and it works out quite well. I think that the round trip fare is fair, too.:) You'll be called off the ship toward the last part of the disembarkation time so you can emjoy a leisurely breakfast on the last day. ( Although I'm usually crying into mine.)

Thanks Eatondoolittle for the info.
I plan on checking the website for the bus connection.
It seems like it is a much easier way to travel from Central Florida to Ft.Lauderdale,as opposed to driving, especially for seniors(smile)
