7/28/07 Voyager Baltic Cruise

My DW and I are interested in private tours of St. Petersburg with some time for her to shop. I've been in early talks with Alla tours and they seem very reasonable if the group is 4 -6 folks. Has anyone had any experience with Alla, good or bad? And is anyone potentially interested in sharing a tour? This is our first RSSC cruise and we are very much looking forward to it.

We had a wonderful experience with Alla Tours last August. I highly recommend them. Everything went very smoothly -- we did not have to wait in the extremely long lines with bus loads of people because private guides are allowed to go to the front of the line.

Although we will not be there this year, someone on these boards suggested checking the "Roll Call" section of Cruise Critic -- not just Regent -- look for passengers on other ships that will be in port as well. If you go to cruisecal.com (the cruise calendar) you'll learn what other ships will be in St. Petersburg when you are!
