Can anyone tell me about the speed and ease access to the internet on Rotterdam?

I teach an online college class and am planning to travel during the semester. I will need to access the college website and my class, download student papers, and upload them when graded. I will probably bring my own laptop and transfer files via disk. I am hoping it will not take forever to upload Word files of around 40K.

I know working while on vacation is not the best way to travel, but it is the only way I can travel and continue to teach.

Thanks

JBailey

I wonder if they'll allow you to load disks on the internet cafe's computers? Worries about viruses?

As for speed, I used the internet cafe for checking email almost daily when I was on the Rotterdam last March. I was accessing email via a web-based account. I experienced no problems at all, and the speed seemed reasonably fast.

But, I would check on whether they would allow you to insert your own disks in the system. Somehow I don't think they would allow that.

Blue skies ...
