Can anyone tell me (before I complete the reservation) anything about cabin S6158?
This will be our first time on the Zuiderdam.
I would really appreciate any assistance the experienced cruisers on the Zuiderdam might offer. Thank you in advance.

Guess this was a bad time to post this question - went ahead and booked this cabin anyhow - hopefully someone will tell me about the cabin anyway.

you can always change your cabin, I recently changed from one spot to another after hearing a bad review.

We've not stayed in that one but we stayed on the decks above and below it.
The balcony will be unbelievable but the aft S suites vary in size in cabin space based on what deck your on. I believe from what I've seen the cabin you have is about 311 sq. ft not counting the balcony. The side S suites run a little over 390 sq ft not counting the balcony and the balconies on the side are smaller than the S aft suites. To me 311 sq ft in still a good sized cabin and for us we'd pick that over a S side suite but thats just our personal preference. We've been on the Zuiderdam 3 times so far with the fourth cruise on it already booked. Hope this helps.

Thanks swmichigan - this helps quite a bit. This is our first time in an aft cabin and although I like a roomy cabin, it will only be the two of us and I love the verandah. I spend more time in my cabin space than I do out and about and don't care much for anything but the days at sea.
If you are not on the Rotterdam deck, have you found a difference with service to suite passengers?
Thank you again for your insight.

About the possible service differences by not being on the rotterdam deck we didn't see any differences. On one of our cruises we were in S7133 on the Zuiderdam but still quite away from the Neptune Lounge only difference is because your on the aft part of the ship you have to walk farther to get to the Neptune lounge. Some people like to be right by it but thats not to important to us we don't mind walking and the hall ways are real quiet at the aft end of the ship. Another example of what is important to us may not be important to someone else.
