I understand the Navigator was in dry dock for some "fixin up". Anyone know what ;was done.

We were on the Voyager last summer and the condition was more than a bit tired. I understand that ship has been refurbished as well, but it's the Navigator we will be on this year, so of course that's the one I'm most interested in.

Have they put in flat scren tv's, etc.

Thanks much for your help!

No flat screens that I saw. But all the soft goods were done. The ship looked very nice, and the bedding is really great.

But then again, I was on Voyager too last summer, and I thought everything was fine (although not as nice and fresh as Nav. in December.)

Were on the Navigator last month -- our first trip on that particular ship but were aware that it it needed it's recent "face-lift". From what I can tell the carpeting, beds/bedding have been replaced. The rest of the furniture looks "new", but it could be just a very good reupholstering job. On the inside, the ship looks new and spotless.

There has been quite a bit of discussion about flat screen TVs -- first I heard that a contract was being negotiated and once complete, they would be installed on the Navigator, Mariner and Voyager (not sure about PG since Regent does not own it). Recently there have been some posts that said that the Penthouse suites on the Voyager have the flat screens. No doubt some one will give you an update on that.

According to a Regent employee on board last month, there will be more refurbishments in the near future (not sure exactly what).

Hope you enjoy your cruise:)

Just off the Navigator and it appears that they completed installing the new carpets and bedding. The new mattresses are comfy indeed! Some of the upholstered furniture has been redone as well. Wifi installation is complete as is the upgraded satellite reception (means fewer blackout areas that frequently occurred with the old system). A lot of work was done on deck 11, with the new cabin (ddin't check it out) and expanded spa.

If you're opting for one of the master suites, there is a flat screen in the living room area, but still an old model in the sleeping room. Also, a pod style expresso maker. Curiously, there is no plug accessable for a computer either at the desk or the dining table. I had to unplug the television when using the computer. Seemed odd for such an expensive suite. The wrap around balcony was fantastic, but other than that I wouldn't spring for the big bucks.

Even though the upgrades were mostly cosmetic, she looks a lot spiffier now.
