Don't you wish HAL had a web page to share the view from the bridge of their ships like Princess does. I watch the Princess cams sometimes just to get glimpse of Alaska and a preview of my HAL Statendam July 15 cruise.

Yes, I think it would be great if HAL did this but I also use the Princess cam to watch for other HAL ships;) Actually the cruise line that has an even better web cam is Celebrity.

Lisa,
Can you please post a link to the Celebrity web cams? I've searched around their site and I can't find it.

Looks like High Seas Computer Services no longer service the Celebrity Vessels. I remember the service from when my father-in-law took a cruise a couple years back. Each of the cams updated each minute. You could watch them taking a class, surfing the net and see exactly where the ship was.
Maybe they're just between contracts right now.

You are right it is no longer working. That is really too bad for Celebrity. I thought they had a great set up that with each ship link it told of the itinerary and where they were that day and the camera pictures was huge. I caught some great pictures for Sher aka localady who just returned from the Infinity.

Lisa, check out Costa cruises and how they do it, http://www.costacruise.com/B2C/USA/WebCam/webcam.htm There is a map that has an outline of all the ships and generally where they are, then you click on a ship and it gives a detailed map of where they are and their route/itinerary, then click on it again and you get a window that lists the speed, position, heading, environmental conditions, and a view from the webcam, there is also a little outline of the ship with these circles that represent the webcams, so you can click on it to switch between the bow and stern view. Actually a very nice job. I wish HAL would incorporate this into their webpage for their ships
