I know this has been asked, and I am sorry I don't remember. How much is the credit? Thank you.

I believe it is and it depends on the length of your cruise - i.e. 7 days gets so much, 10 probably more, etc. There is no doubt a maximum that you can get. It is a shipboard credit. I believe our friends got $100.00 each for a 10 day cruise they booked while we were on the Rotterdam in May.
Someone else may know the exact amounts.

On Two Differant Ocasions We Were Given 150 Dollars Per Person For 16 Day Voyages. For Shorter Trips The Amount Was Either 100.00 Or 50.00.
Hope This Helps.

If we rebooked while onboard, would we get a credit for each person we booked for? What I mean is my husband and I are sailing alone this time, but if we think it would be a nice line to take our children on, we would rebook 2 cabins. Would the credits apply to the second cabin as well since we were paying for both at once?

StillFrantic, I just did this in May. Had already booked an April 2005 trip for mysef and wanted to book my children for the same cruise. They got the
$75 per person shipboard credit and I was shocked when I was told I would also get it. They did not have a future cruise consultant on board but I was
given a direct # to call in Seattle. Took all of about 5 minutes. I strongly
recommend you do this.

:)
Anytime there is a shipboard cruise consultant on board OR you receive a notice in your cabin about booking a cruise while you are on board, you will receive shipboard cruise credit.
Usually it is $50 per person for a 7 day cruise.
For 7 - 14 cruises it is $75 per person.
Cruises longer than that it is $100 per person.
And if there is actually a cruise consultant on board your ship and you do book a future cruise, he/she usually send a bottle of wine to your table.

I booked the Volendam 10-day for March 2005 while I was on the Rotterdam this past March. I received $75 per person shipboard credit or $150 per cabin, BUT since I booked the Volendam my cruise has gone down in price. My TA called and got the lower price, but was told by HAL that if the price goes down anymore, that I would loose my shipboard credit. Oh well, if the price goes down more than the shipboard credit, I'd rather get the lower price than the credit, so just be aware that can possibly happen.

Hi,
we had a similar situation. We received $75 pp for booking the 11 day zaandam while on the Rotterdam 34 day trip. There was a fare reduction posted just as we got home, we recieved a $600 reduction but they did not alter our on-board credits. We're still 2 months out from final payment, so who knows what will happen.
BTW we did have a cruise consultant and she said for 12 days it would have been $100 pp. 16 days, $150 pp.
