Going on the Maasdam in August. What is the earliest you can board in Montreal? Is it the usual 11:30 am? Is the checkin process similar to the checkin in FLL?
Thanks,
Dee

Thanks, DBrady. That's the same cruise we will be on and I was hoping we could board at 11:30 which is about the check out time at our hotel.

You should be able to start boarding around 11:30. You can go to the Lido for lunch or walk around the ship until an announcement is made that the cabins are ready.

Oh, I hope you are right Krazy! That would be wonderful. Anyone out there who has gone on the Montreal-Boston cruise that knows for sure?
Thanks,

Since HAL began this new boarding time, it is being done in every port that I have heard of, Vancouver, European ports. Sp I don't see why it shouldn't be done in Montreal.

passengers are disembarked by 10:30 at the latest, we then tend to start embarkation at 11:30 for new passengers. as mentioned, you can feel free to walk around and eat lunch in the Lido on deck 11, and then head down to the rooms once the cruise director makes the announcement that they're open.
