Hello!
Does Disney Cruise Line have Dance Hosts? Not the cruise director's staff, but gentlemen on board specifically to dance with the single ladies...

Yes Kiwi....unfortunately on a whole it seems to be...
I am 45 and generally 30 years younger than most of the hosts I have worked with. Since it is not a paid position and there are agency fees and it actulally costs to be a dance host...most of the guys are like the characters in the "Out To Sea" movie with Walter Matheau and Jack Lemon...retired and sometimes seedy.
But there are a few of us who are Ballroom teachers who do it and really teach on board...not just "taxi" dance!

I have never noticed any. This type of dancing, while offered, has never been a huge attendance grabber like it is on some other lines. DCL has more "Big Fat Greek Wedding" dancing than ballroom in my experience.

Sorry sweetie, never seen "such an animal". The Dance clubs on Disney do have "Theme Nights" like 70's and 80's nights where the CM's dress is in period costumes and get the crowd going. But no Waltz,Cha Cha Cha or Pasa on Disney.
