Try the Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport!!! It's nice and right at the airport.

Most of the major chains - Westin, Marriott, Sheraton and more - have hotels on Century Boulevard. If you have any frequent guest points you can redeem, go for whatever you've got. We favor the Westin for that reason. Plus it's a nice hotel with very nice common areas. I love their Heavenly Beds, too. Their rates are usually quite reasonable, $100-150 most of the time.

We're flying into LAX at 1:30pm, flying out the next day at 1pm. That should give us an aft/evening of free time, so we're wondering whether to stay near the airport, or further away to be closer to some fun activities.
Also, I've heard we should be at the airport 3 hrs. ahead for flight to Tahiti - what do you think? Thanks so much!

We "won" the Westin on Priceline for $61 for our stay next October. Had the Radisson two years ago, also a Priceline win, for $46.

It's certainly worth bidding on for a hotel at LAX. Check out the information at www.betterbidding.com (http://www.betterbidding.com) and www.biddingfortravel.com (http://www.biddingfortravel.com) to find out which hotels have recently been won and at what prices. Most all the LAX 3 & 4 Star hotels offer a free shuttle to the airport.
