Please recommend your fav shore tour with our with out booking through the cruise line.

HAl has thirteen ships and different intineraries. You might get a better response by decomposing the intinerary by port and posting your questions on the related Ports of Call boards. For the most part, all the cruise lines offer the same shore excurions.
BTW, Half Moon Cay is HAL's private island and it is the best port on this intinerary. My favorite thing is to rent a floatie raft and load up on the sun screen and spend the better part of the day in the water. Other swear by the cabanas.

However, some of our favorite excursions are the ship's trips. I would not suggest that you put on an arbitrary requirement for independent operators until you have had a chance to compare.
