We have booked 3 catagory 12 rooms for Sept 5.
All inside cabins are booked. Will we still have to wait till we board to find out what cabin we will be in?

If they are booked GTY you may be getting an upgrade. You should call and see if you can find out assignments yet.

When your documents arrive, they'll usually have your room number if you've booked a category guarantee. If not, you may have to wait until you get to the port, although you can call and check in between. The category 12 rooms are all at deck 2 forward, so if they don't upgrade you, you'll be in that location on the ship.
While an upgrade would be nice, they don't happen all that often, so my advice would be not to get your hopes up.
