Airport Transfer Charges

We are about ready to book the Insignia Sept 14 Black Sea Sojourn and when we received our initial invoice noticed surprise airport to ship and back charges of $100 each. This was not mentioned in the brochure prices upon which we based our decision. Is this a normal charge? I hate surprises and this certainly falls into that category.

Your Travel agent should have gone over all the charges with you when you were discussing the booking..with free air there are no free transfers..If you pay for air..transfers are included..

We went with Oceania air with deviation fees and still did not pay for transfers...Carmela

It was the same for us in May - with air deviation, transfers weren't charged separately.

We have paid $115 each for air deviation, the $50 transfer charge was removed and because of the deviation we were told that we have to make our own transfer arrangements. The deviation did not include additional days before or after the cruise just specific flights we wanted. What gives?

Like lilreckster and roothy123 we went with Oceania with deviation fees, did not get charged for transfers but WILL NOT RECEIVE TRANSFERS. We are on our own to get to and from the ship from the airport.
