Smuggling own drinks on board ?????

If I bring a couple of packs of crystal lite peach tea mix, will that be considered smuggling my own drinks on board :)

As this seems to be a touchy subject, I want to make sure :)

Just pack in your checked luggage, not your carry-on. You shouldn't have a problem.

I don't think that taking non-alcoholic beverages will create a problem for you. Doesn't Crystal Light come as a powder, anyway?

I think most of the times when this issue comes up on this board it's more because someone wants to save money. It's obvious in your case that you just want to bring a drink that you prefer on board.

I don't think you need to "smuggle" that as I think that is permitted.

Yes, it is a powder and yes I am doing it because I really enjoy the taste and due to a medication I'm presently on I need to drink lots of fluids and this really helps, I'm not much of a plain water drinker either.
