FLL rental car return to pier.

I'm going to arrive a day ahead of time and rent a car in FLL. Are there any FLL rental companies that will shuttle me over to the pier after returning the rental?

Yes, all the better know rentals will take you to the pier, like Hetrz and Avis. I have used Avis many times.

Alamo will too. And they are usually cheaper.

As stated, Hertz, Avis and Alamo all have shuttles to/from the port in FLL. And we have used them all, but by far the easiest, speediest and most convenient is Hertz. On our last cruise to/from FLL we used an Avis car and the service was slow -- in fact we were driven to the ship in our rental car by a Avis employee because the shuttle bus was having some sort of difficulty and the security checkpoint was tedious. On return the pickup at the ship took two phone calls and a wait of an hour for the shuttle to appear. We were passed many times by the Hertz bus before Avis showed up. Yes, Hertz often is a bit more costly but their service is far and away superior. Hertz would be my choice!

TwoRoberts, you brought up a good point about Avis being slow. We have also had waits. Once, they had no idea where the shuttle bus was. An employee took us to the port in a car. We may try another car rental company on our next cruise.
