Does HAL do anything special for honeymooners?

Does HAL do anything special for those on a honeymoon cruise? I'll be on Westerdam on January 9, 2005.

We were invited to a special reception with the Captain and Hotel Manager for honeymooners as well as receiving a certificate that we honeymooned on the Ship signed by the Captain. It was a very nice touch!

Congratulations, you will have a wonderful honeymoon!

Make sure your TA is informed. I think you may get a cake, one night, but if you want anything special you have to pay for it. There is a honeymoon package, ask your TA about it. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding.

I must have missed that part of the festivities:eek: , now that is what I call wildlife!!! We were so lucky to see humpback and Orca pods from the ship, but that was the extent of wildlife viewing for this gal;)

We were treated to a special reception, with cake, for the honeymooners and vow renewers. Also given a photo with the Captain and Hotel Manager. All we had to do was tell HAL we were honeymooners. I don't think there was an extra charge, but we did mention that we had met on a HAL ship. :)

They try to keep the ship steady so the "rocking" doesn't disturb the rest of us old timers.
