adf did have a call from p and O yesterday to inform them that they would be boarding and leaving late.
They have very kindly set up transfers and food etc at the casino for todays cruisers.
It had to be her cruise didnt it??

Hi all ! Just been up to North Head and filmed the sun as she sailed in late. Appears the heavy seas have taken some white off so I guess the crew will be painting all afternoon.Having said that, she still sparked as she made her way down the harbour and everyone appeared to be out on the rails enjoying the mid morning arrival in Sydney..regards ..Brian

I think it was karma for her making fun of the fact that my cruise was so rough! :p (Same itinerary last month - N718)

I know that this is slightly off topic, but I was in Miami (Florida) late last week, and driving along in a cab I saw what seemed to be the identical sister ship to the Pacific Sun. It was berthed and had the name "Fantasy" on the side. She looked identical except for the Carnival twin funnel and a rounded stern (the Pacific Sun and Pacific Star have both had their stern shapes squared off to add stability and to suit the rougher conditions in the South Pacific). Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take a photo.

I just checked out her deckplans & she is a bit different. The Holiday is identical though.

Fantasy is the first of the Fantasy class of Carnival ships. Pacific Sun (ex Jubilee) is from the Holiday class which also includes the Carnival Sensation. The Fantasy class is a bit bigger than the Holiday class and were produced from the late '80s until the late '90s (the Holiday class were produced in the mid '80s) but is very similar in design to the Holiday class so I can understand why you though they were twins.
