Zuiderdam /refuburished

:D My 1st time on the HAL side on the board so go easy on me.
1st ? Has the Zuiderdam been refuburised recently.
2nd ? Do they have a cocktail hour in the Neptune Lounge like they have
on Rcl ships.

I booked a SC suite ...Feb 9th 2008
After 12 cruises on Rcl.......Time for a change....Hope I pick right!:confused:

Unfortunately the Zuiderdam will not go into Dry Dock for being refurbished till late Spring 2008 but I think you will find her to be in excellent condition. HAL ships in my opinion are constantly being painted and repaired and railing varnished. Much different that what I experience with my only 2 RCL cruises. The Zuiderdam has wonderful bed that are extremely comfy.

Beings that you booked a SC Suite you will be invited to the Suite Reception Party usually held the first evening but sometimes held the next afternoon. It is usually held in the Neptune and Yes you will have cocktails served. Other wise the Neptune dones not provide cocktails.

I think you will love the Zuiderdam and find she is very well maintained:)

:D That is late Spring here in Las Vegas. Spring starts in March here and ends in Early May. Summer is full blast by mid May;) I guess it all depends where you live but Calendar wise I guess that would be correct:o
