Does anyone know if they serve Lobster on all of the Disney cruises or only the 7-Day ones? I am considering a Disney cruise and my husband really looks forward to Lobster night. We are looking at the 4-Day cruise.

We have been on two 3 day cruises, an Eastern and a Western and have only been served lobster on the 7 day cruises. Is that reason enough to opt for the 7 day? You will also get lobster burgers on Castaway Cay.

The lobster burgers are served on the 3 and 4 day cruises, too, although the lobster tails are not.

Say... What exactly is a "lobster burger"? I only ask this because lobsters don't exactly "patty-up" well.

While the lobster tails will suffice, IMO, being from New England and getting the fresh seafood out of Boston, DH and I can tell the difference between the cruise ship's lobster and lobster from NE. :rolleyes:

The lobster is definitely not Maine lobster right off the boat in Kennebunkport. It is a caribbean lobster, but still pretty good. Nothing like a Maine lobster just off the boat drowning in butter.

TheWog - ahhhh, now you are speaking of some fine lobster from Kennebunkport! We live in CT, but when we are in Portland, yes! Nothing better than the lobster. ;)

I love CT, I have family in the Stamford, Greenwich area. My fathers whole side is from there. I also have family in Vernon. Have to love the N.Y. Deli there.

Wog: very nice area Greenwich. We're in Granby, up in the mountains, nice and peaceful. ;)
We get our seafood from a place in Hartford which comes right off Delta each morning. City Fish. So it's fresh fish out of Boston. ;)

My office is a couple minutes down the Silas Deane from City Fish - great place to go for take-out lunch, too.

Very nice! We have out own little CT thread here...I work for a law firm in Hartford, City Place, that is!
