Normally there is only one plug by the mirror at the dressing table. We always take along one of those things that converts one plug into three and that works great.

If you have a balcony you can do what my wife does. She takes along a generator with several extensionn cords and then she has all the power she needs even when the ships power fails. It is tough finding a suitcase to hold the generator though.

PS make sure that it has a good muffler

We were in a D cabin and there were two outlets on the vanity area (in the main cabin) and another outlet in the bathroom. The blow dryer is in the cabinet and does not require the use of any of the outlets.

Ziggy7, we'll be on board with you with two long power strips in our outlets.:D

Figure out what your plugging in and WHAT NEEDS CHARGING. Between rechargable cell phones, rechargeable gameboys and laptops, camera and video batteries, my DH printer, etc, we outgrew a regular extention cord years ago...

MORE IMPORTANT, make sure if anything your plugging in is a three prong, you bring that kind of extention cord or power strip.

Same deal bathroom, if you need to heat rollers, blow dry, recharge his razor, etc.

Nearly ready for the Zuiderdam boarding dance!

My generator only runs about 6 - 8 hours on a tank of gas. Do you bring your own fuel, or does yours run on diesel and you just syphon some from the ship?

Gin or Vodka works best but Jack Daniels give a smoother idle.......

The generator when at sea an me after Ruth visits St Thomas.

She uses her wheelchair to gety into town and then uses it as a shopping cart on returning to the ship.......
