Are there safes in cat. B veranda cabins ???
If not would you suggest travlers checks and then cashing them in at the pursers desk ????

There will be a safe in your cabin. But we also take traveler's checks as well.

They are safer than carrying around a lot of cash.

I personally think travelers' checks are a bother. I'd rather just have cash. I take what I think I'll need ashore and keep the rest in the safe.

There are also safe deposit boxes at the front desk if you do not feel comfortable with the safe in the room.

We have never had a problem with theft on a HAL ship.

There are safes in every cabin on HAL ships.....except on Noordam. She will be leaving the fleet very soon.
