I just paid my final this afternoon and when I asked if the new refrigerators were going to be in the cabins soon I was told that even though the online brochure shows that all cabins have a refrigerator, they were only installing them in suites. I asked the agent to double check this information which she did and came back with the same information. The agent proceeded to put in my record my request for a refrigerator, and said there would be one in my cabin.
So are they or are they not going to install refrigerators in the standard cabins? I really thought I read on this board where they were on the ship, but it was just a problem with the electrical connection.

Having recently sent a lengthy letter to Customer Services RCL/Celebrity/Azamara in the UK asking them to verify/confirm a number of queries we had re our forthcoming cruise on Quest 24 Nov., I finally received a reply in great detail.

The following is a full list of the relevant section as stated in their letter:

What do the concierge style amenities in each stateroom consist of?
- 1 night complimentary speciality dining
- Plasma TV's (23")
- In room safe
- European Bedding
- Elemis toiletries and handheld hair dryer
- Refrigerated mini bar (items can be purchased for a fee)
- Complimentary use of Frette cotton robes, umbrella, binoculars and Celebrity Cruises tote bag
- Complimentary bottle of Evian water
- Fresh cut flowers, daily fruit basket, and stationery

Now that I have this in writing from RCL,I'll make sure I take it with me when we leave for our trip to avoid any confusion.

Hope it helps any other prospective cruiser on Journey and Quest.

On the July 7 cruise I asked guest relations about this. Bottom line-if your room does not have one just ask guest relations and they will get one installed for you. I did not not ask for one but they offered it to me. Just ask nice. They also indicated that at some point all roooms will have a refridgerator.

In viewing everyone's posts over the past month, it looks like that each time a refrigerator was requested, it was provided. I plan on asking for one and then smiling very widely at the front desk as soon as I arrive:D !

Hi Everyone !

I believe that all staterooms are supposed to have a refrigrerator. At this time, I heard that only Suites have them installed. I read that the refrigerators are onboard Journey, but they are dealing with some sort of electrical conversion issue. This is why they are not yet installed in all of the cabins.

Hopefully, the issue will be resolved on Journey soon, and the problem wont exist by the time Quest makes her debut.

At any rate, it is good to know they are making refrigaerators available to anyone who asks for it, until they find a permanent solution to the issue.
