Guiness?

Does anyone know if they sell Guiness on the Zuiderdam? Helps with digestion. don't you know!

The only time I've seen it on board was in Ireland when they brought it on board...and it was the "Real black stuff"!

I remember my husband "smuggling" some onboard. He was leisurely sipping from the container when he was practically attacked by a fellow passenger wanting to know where it came from. Along with the explanation, my husband graciously got one for the man who became his fast friend :)

I know people enjoy certain types of beers, soda's, etc, that are not sold onboard the ships. I also understand why you would want to take some onboard with you to enjoy in your cabins, but please, drink them in your cabin, don't bring them out to the decks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is probably one reason why we are no longer able to bring bottles of liquor onboard with us, without smuggling them, to enjoy in our cabins.

Aren't there any beer drinkers out there that have travelled on the Zuiderdam that can tell a poor soul whether or not one of his favorite beverages is served on board?

When we were on the Rotterdam, about a year or so ago, they did not sell Guinness.
I remember this because a gentleman told me when we were getting off in Curacao, That he had to find some and bring it back with him.

I'm going HAL for the first time soon, I've only been on Princess. I was really disappointed at the lack of any serious beers available. I love a nice Black and Tan from the tap myself.

Danga, I'm afraid the news will not be good. I called Ship's Services yesterday to inquire about "dark beer" for my friend. They read the list to me and she certainly did not mention Guiness. I told the girl I was shocked.
