friend is on the Westerdam for an Oldies cruise in Mar 05......done with a group booking....her TA isnt sure about groups being able to take advantage of promos...this one is #267. anyone know the scoop about group bookings??

Most promos are for new bookings only ... so being already booked it likely wouldn't apply. The TA might be able to do something, however, to get a reduction.

Hi,
Our onboard cruise consultant, MaryAnn, told us that ontop of the mariner discount, there is a discount for 15 people or 9 cabins.

Could you please post some info about the Oldies cruise? Is there a web site to with information?

Some people thing all HAL sailings are oldies cruises! :D
This sounds fun. Are they looking at the fifties as "oldies?" Would poodle skirts be the preferred ladies wear? Just think of a dining room full of white sport coats and pink carnations on formal nights!

And don`t forget the suede bucks and saddle oxfords!! I would be interested in an oldies cruise, if they mean the music and not the pax!!.....jean

we did receive the promo 50$ pp/cabin.......but a month AFTER the initial booking, so i can be done. i just didnt know about the promor's when a group booked a block of cabins.
the Oldies curise will have special performances by certain artisits...Ron Dante being one. since i am not really into that so i dont know the particulars, but will ask my friend and post here.....she is looking forward to it !

Just saw an ad in our local Sunday paper about group booking on HAL. It stated book 5 cabins and you get a soda card and dinner at the Pinnacle. It believe it said call HAL for info.

If my TA is correct, promo 267 is for balcony rooms only!
