Never mind - you'll enjoy it.
BTW - how was the Pacific Sky - Western Tropics in April 06?
We were on the one in March 06 that broke down in the Malacca Straits.
Still had bags of fun though. ;)

They were exeptionally good ! and being the 3rd and 2nd last cruises for P & O all the souvenirs from the ship were very cheap :D I think the signs said 70 - 90 % Off:D
I found the Cruise was a bit too hecktick for my liking, We flew to Singapore the night before and the first day in Singapore (well up to midday) was the biggest break we had for the whole week. First day of the cruise, Sunday, was the first port (Mallaca) and it was all go go go for the whole week till the friday which was our first "sea day". The second week at least had a sea day at each end for a bit of a relax. It was very hot and humid as well so my walking towel got a real workout. Saying all that I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Mallaca was fun for us as well, It was low tide in the middle of the day and the tenders had no chance of getting up the creek they used, It was a 3-4 hour wait in 40+ degree heat with no shade to get back to the ship, there where many unhappy campers!

Hello RD MULLET,
I know what you mean. There was a cruise expo here on the Gold Coast a few weeks ago and I only went along to pick up some new cruise brochures for my collection (yes, I really do collect cruise brochures!) and before I knew what was happening I'd booked another Pac Sun cruise, so it became a very expensive day! Best wishes from Pink Poodle :)

We were on those two cruises last April, I cleared the duty free shop of perfume & handbags, there were great bargains. I loved the itineries the second week was a better pace, it was a job getting the kids back on the ship for dinner at 5.00, but i got it down to a fine art, kids to dinner a shower and glass of wine, kids off the kids club all before dinner at 6.00!! they did get a bit low on some of the brands of booze in the bars. We were fortunate to get upgarded to a mini suite as our cabin stank of cigarette smoke, all up it was a great holiday.
