We're sailing on the Prinsendam on September 20, Lisboa to Piraeus.

I know there are provisions aboard for cleaning and pressing professionally, but does anybody know if there are facilities where we can touch up our clothes a little bit ourselves? They're going to be in a suitcase for three or four days before we can hang them up, and they're going to need some attention!

We have a steamer which I've used a few times, but boy, is it a pain!

thanks, Lane

Y'know, come to think of it (the title) I'll bet there IS a little room somewhere in the bowels of that maze of a ship where they can "isolate" someone if necessary . . .

My wife took a bottle of Downy wrinkle releaser and it worked pretty well to remove wrinkles and also "freshened up" the clothes at the same time.

:)

There are a couple of self-service laundries on the Prinsendam where you can wash and dry clothes as well as iron.

You're probably right, but I have no intention of finding out for sure. Remind me to behave myself.

We'll probably sign up for the one-price laundry/pressing/cleaning package (unless the upgrade fairy gives it to us for free with a full suite). We'll sending everything that needs it out, and it will be back the next day.

(I started to go into a repeat version of a previous long lecture about how wasteful it is to try to get rid of wrinkles by letting clothes hang in the shower with the water running, but since you didn't ask about that, I'd better not. :o Will save it in case someone brings that topic up.)
