When we docked there it was not at Aloha Tower (or whatever it is called), but at an empty commerical warehouse several blocks away.

We were fortunate on our Amsterdam cruise - we docked at the Aloha Tower pier.

The ships that just cruise around the islands have 1st right to dock at Aloha Tower. Hawaii is the homeport for those NCL ships. All others have to use the "new passenger" terminal yes the old freight terminal when the NCL ship is in port.

Aloha
This is the address for the Hawaii Harbors.
www.hawaii.gov/dot/harbors/oahu/oahu.htm
You will see a link for; 07 and 08 cruise lines schedule.
They use pier 2 and 11. Pier 2 being near the Aloha tower.
Depending on your cruise date you could be at either one.
Note: From Aloha tower area you will see the new " Superferry".
This ferry will start operation I think mid Sept. It will serve Maui and Kaua'i.

Thanks, John! I wrote to HAL 3 times asking this info and they could not give it to me. Looks like we won't have enough time to get to Aloha Towers to catch an ENOA tour. We arrive at 7:00 and need to be there by 8:15. I was hoping we would be closer.

I believe that's Pier 19. We were docked there as well during our Hawaii/South Pacific cruise in 2006. I thought the reason we got stuck with that pier was because we were overnighting. The year before, on a Princess cruise, we docked right at the Aloha Tower ... but then that was only for a one-day stay.

Correction:
Pier(s) 10 & 11 are adjacent to the Aloha Tower, at the foot of Fort Street.
Pier 2 is at Fort Armstrong ... about 1/4 mile in the Waikiki direction from the
Aloha Tower.

So since the schedule says we will be at pier 11 on Oct 3, we should be very close to the Aloha Tower which means there may be a possibility of catching that tour that leaves at 8:15???? I hope, I hope!!

Kane, I stand corrected ! You are right about pier 2.
And like you said it's only a short walk. So hope they can get off the ship in time.

Kane and John,
Thanks to both of you. I really appreciate the help! I hope we can make it too. Most if not all of the tour companies seem to coordinate their tours with NCL arrivals or hotel guests. This is one tour that is a possibility, otherwise, it is the Wakiki Trolley or the crowded ship tour bus.
