Florists' deliveries to ship

I realize that HAL offers it's own floral arrangements; but, will they also allow a florist to deliver to the ship before embarkation (in our case, Barcelona will be the embarkation point). What about deliveries of gift packages that might include 'hard' alcohol as well as wines, foods? Thanks for any help!

We have received floral deliveries friends have sent us to HAL ships. In March, we sailed from FLL on Rotterdam and a friend sent us a huge bouquet of flowers. I was in our Suite when we arrived. A private local floriest delivered it; it was not ordered through HAL.

That is an interesting question. A gift that might include "hard" alcohol. If the person who delivers the gift (crew member) is ablt to see the bottle of "hard" liquor, will it be confiscated?

Like to know how this turns out.
