Paid The Visa Bill...cruise Is Now Paid In Full!

Well....received my VISA...with the $$$ on it for this cruise......and got paid today...guess what I paid off?:eek: :D ...oyyy...it does feel nice to have it paid off before the actual sail date...but it takes a chunk out of that "vacation fund"....though I guess that is what is there for.....;)

Making the final payment on a cruise is always a cause for celebration! When planning a cruise I have the following celebration times:


When I book the cruise and pay the deposit
When I make the final payment on the cruise
When I receive my cruise docs
When I go shopping for any extra clothing needed
When I pack
When the Limo shows up.


How I celebrate.
At booking I celebrate with a toast of brandy to the coming cruise
At making the final payment I celebrate with another toast of brandy
At receiving my cruise docs I go out to dinner with whomever I'm cruising
At shopping for clothing I allow myself to spend some money on clothing!
At packing, I go out to eat ... then and the night before departure
At the Limo's arrival ... I GO!!!!!!!!!

Love that brandy - we do toast to a lot of things in our life as well.

On September 25th (wife's birthday) and when you begin your cruise on the Zaandam, we will salute you with a brandy at one of our favorite restaurants.

Ours is paid too! Unfortunately I realized our December final is due before we leave on September's cruise. :( Guess we need to plan them a little further apart.

Mine are always paid in full before we leave also. We pay with AMEX and that has to be paid in full when you receive your bill. I prefer it that way.....jean

I'm with you Jean.. I just paid the balance on mine with my AMEX today. Cash back and the bill is due right away.

:) Good morning....well, actually this booking goes waaayy back to January....when I returned home from my Century sailing, a friend and I had booked a cruise to Bermuda.....that recently had to be cancelled.......

I was able to find a HAL cruise for a very reasonable price for a single......and that is on the Zuiderdam on 9-11...... so I have been waiting all year LOL now it is 6 weeks away;)

have lots of fun Lois, i too am waiting for my docs i don't leave till september 118 but i am getting anxious for the document dance to begin, after i receive the tkts, the fun begins for me, shopping for new clothes,packing and the ANTIPACATION!!!!!! YIPEE i My champagne order is already in and the glass is getting frosted YIPEEE, no phones,clients, problems for 9 days.....happy cruising to all :p

KK....and you know what else?...Since my tips are going to be on my On-Board Account, I will be bringing less cash with me LOL.....Usually I have my "tip money" stashed away.....and don't touch it until the day before the cruise is over.

So, I will be able to save extra......and it will probably be used for some "extra Blackjack";)
