Mr & Mrs....Noordam?

Back in 2004, I sailed on Maasdam, and the cruise director had randomly, pre-selected a Mr. & Mrs. Maasdam. (They did not necessarily know each other).

The cruisers on board were asked to identify each, kind of a scavenger hunt, and the first person to correctly identify each, would win prize.

It was tons of fun, and I was wondering if HAL does such a thing on the Noordam. I am sailing out on Oct. 20th of this year.

I know this was not done on the Noordam, in May. I have no recollection of Mr./Mrs on any VISTA ship. Has anyone else had a different experience?

Adam, have you stopped by the roll call we have going for the 10/20 cruise?

It has been my experience that they only do this on the smaller ships being the Prinsendam, and the 4 S Class Ships and the 4 R Class ships. I am not aware that this has ever been done on the Noordam or any Vista Class ship. But I can tell you that you will love the Noordam. We were so very impressed by this ship. HAL definitely got it right when they did this ship.:)

Guess it's hit and miss depending on who the cruise director is.

You should plan a Caribbean cruise on the Noordam, Lisa. That is a wonderful cruise!

I can't remember on my first cruise on the Oosterdam, but the Westerdam, Rotterdam and Statendam all had the Mr. & Ms. contest. I was Ms. Statendam! I wasn't "discovered" until the second last day. But after I was revealed, everyone kept talking to me. I felt like a celebrity!

I was on the Rydam last August and the Noordam last November and on both ships there was a Mr and Mrs.
