Can anyone tell me what the laundry options are for us pax NOT eleigible for the free laundry service for suite pax? I'm sure they have a pay service, but aren't there also launderettes onboard? Do I need to bring coins and/or deterg?

The Amsterdam has a few self-service laundromats scattered around the ship. The washer is $2.00, and it's $1.00 to dry (or reverse---I never remember). You can get quarters at the Front Deck. Detergent is supplied (don't use too much!); bring your own dryer sheets, if desired.
There's an ironing board and iron in the room, and a few chairs to sit on if you get back before your machine is finished.

This is one reason I love the R and S style ships. I know, you all probably think I am crazy, but I don't like anyone doing my laundry AND it cuts down on packing when you can wash.
