HAL laundry

Have any of you ever sent lingerie items to the ship's laundry? I have always washed out my own but often, especially in humid climates, it can take 2 days to dry and is really a nuissance. Our next cruise will be in a suite and since the laundry services are complementary I was considering giving it a try.

My mom, sis and I all three send our lingerie to the ships laundry. Bras, no since we don't even put them in the dryer at home, but all else goes and no problems. Enjoy the "suite" life.

When in a Suite I always send out my undies - with no problem. They are returned in a lovely little basket - lined with tissue paper - even nicely folded with a gold seal over the top of the tissue paper !

Thanks, both of you for the information. I might give it a try, especially since at home I put everything in both the washer and dryer.

[Two if by Sea]

Except for whites, I normally wash everything on warm and dry on the medium temperature. Are they going to boil everything and dry everything on really high heat? Could ruin some colors, and scorch permanent press. Can I relax about this or do I need to be really careful?
