Suitcase Vs Duffell Bag

My BF & I are debating whether it would be better to take duffel bags or suitcases.

There will be 4 people in our cabin. I think we should all take duffell bags as once we empty them they will all fold up easily and can be stored under the beds.

My BF thinks suitcases will be fine.

I have been on cruises before where i have shared with 3 others and SOMEONES suitcase is ALWAYS left out and in the way....

Anyone else have opinions on this?

We took suitcases and managed to put them between the door and the wardrobe, underneath the life jackets.
You could consider 1 suitcase and 3 duffles, packing the duffles in the suitcase for storage.
I can't remember how much room is under the beds.
We are going to have 4 small suitcases plus multiple small items so I will let you know when I get back how crowded it was. I think it will be very squeezy.

i guess i just dont like it to be messy?? But the one suitcase and Duffell bag sounds like a pretty good compromise (sp?)

There is plenty of room under the beds for cases, unless you have really huge ones. My hard sided one wouldn't fit closed I put it under open. You can lift the beds to slip the case under.

We had no trouble putting the suitcases under the beds and we weren't in each others way. We left some clothes in the suitcase, was easy to slide it out and get what you wanted.

You will fit 4 suitcases under 2 beds easily. We took 3 suitcases & 2 duffle bags and had no problems with only 2 beds to put them under.
