Safety Deposit Box Questions??

Good Morning,
Can you tell me is there an extra cost to use one of the safety deposit boxes on the statendam? and can you get in it anytime or just certain hours? thank you bunches Christine:)

On the Noordam there was no charge and they were available 24/7. It should probably be the same on all the ships.

FYI all the cabins have a small safe in the closet.

I have put a jewelry case (soft sided) which is about 6" x 9" as well as our passports, small wallets, traveler's checks and airline tickets, etc. Sometimes it's a little crowded (I tend to overpack my "jewels") but I always feel safe with our things are protected in our room. If you're worried about larger items, then you may have to use the larger safe at the front desk and wait in line (or not) each time you want to retrieve something.

At the desk they have a private room to access your boxes. Schedule the times you go there and will not have a wait.

Can fit a lot into the room safes if you pack it right...
