My wife and I are scheduled for our first cruise as empty nesters (19 year old freshman & 20 year old junior)and have never cruised from the West coast. We currently have a room reserved at the BW Bayside Inn. Is it in walking distance to the pier and the Gaslamp area? What will the weather be like in Mexico late October/early November? Any recommendations on must see/must dos in the three ports that this cruise hits? Thanks

Sailed this route in 2005 on Oct. 22 and it was HOT, HOT, HOT & humid, except for 1st day out and last day coming back.

Thanks...we live in Memphis and have had a very very hot summer. Either way we are looking forward to a great cruise.
