This is what I am thinking of doing. I want to take my kids and my mom on a 3 day sea 4 night disney. And What I am wondering is when you are in the park for four days about what would food run for that amount of time? They have never been on a cruise or to Disney and they will be 4 and 6 when we go.

Assuming you're eating 3 meals for 2 adults and 2 kids at the parks for each day, I imagine it can get kind of pricy. You might want to check out Disney-specific guides that will help you plan which restaurants to eat at. Deb Wills' site All Ears Net (http://allearsnet.com/index.html) is also a great guide as it shows the menus and general pricing schemes. If you looking to keep costs down, you might want to stay at a hotel that offers an a la carte menu or cafeteria, or stop by the grocery store if you have transportation and get breakfast foods and snacks to take along.
EDIT: I just noticed that Deb's menus list the prices too, so you can really narrow down your cost estimates.

What site(s) did you use to book the land and sea portions separately? Also, what about transfers to and from the ship and disney itself?
I was thinking about doingthe same thing but also was concerned about how to transport myself from the airport to the hotel and then from hotel to ship and back to airport. I know Disney handles it all if you do the land/sea thru them-but of course there is the price you pay for this "convenience".

cynnomore-I think the shuttle runs $60 a person for rountrip Pt. Cannaraval. You may want to look into renting a car in Orlando and turn in at Pt. Cannaraval as that will be a little cheaper as there are 5 of you.

you can use dreams unlimited or a similar site for the trip. You can purchase Disney Transfers for either leg or both at any time. They are $49 round trip per person. For 5 you could look into a limo costing that much if not much less. FL Tours, Tiffany and Happy Limo are some to check out.

Sorry it took so long to respond i haven't been online. This is what we are doing
Dec. 4 flying into mco and taking a free shuttle to the quality in mco $45.95 per night which includes free breakfast and coctails during happy hour.
Dec. 5 Happy limo will pick us up to go to the cruise which was booked through dreams unlimited. cat. 11 for 4 of us one of us being 2yrs. old for $1,332.00
Dec. 9 Happy limo will pick us up from port and drop us off at the all-star resort. we got the dreammaker silver plan so it will include 2 meals a day which is more then enough (appetizer, meal, dessert, and non-alcholic drink) and also includes park tickets and stay at all-star sports 4 nights $1,745.00. Another tip when you are staying on disney property your tickets and magical wish points are still good the day you check out. it is like having a free day at the parks!
Dec. 13 Happy limo will pick us up at 5:30 from the all-star resort (the hotel will store your luggage until you come back from the parks to pick it up) and drop us off at the airport.
For six of us the total cost for a 10 passenger van with happy limo was $350.00 which includes tips, tolls and transportation and grocery stop. Besides the tips on the cruise (tips are included in the dreammaker plan) the only money we will be spending will be on suveniors and maybe a case of beer for my husband to bring on the cruise.
