can anyone tell me what kind of food do they offer at the buffet when you first board? what's for lunch the first day?

We found it pretty much the same as Celebrity. A variety of things including the steamship round of beef. The pool grill also has burgers, hot dogs, pizza and hot soft pretzels (they don't come close to a Philly soft pretzel).

I actually thought the buffet on the Journey was better than the M ships on Celebrity. The food was always fresh and they always had smoked salmon in the morning.

The first lunch actually had quite a good selection of both hot and cold dishes. They didn't seem to 'skimp' during the first service (that I remember). The memory is getting a bit cloudy though....
