Does anyone know what port Regent intends to substitute for Costa Maya on the Western Caribbean Cruises? My TA checked and was told no decision had been made yet.

Hurray, somebody's finally posted this question! I've heard the same thing. For our cruise in December, I noticed they removed the excursion listings from "My Cruises". But nothing more yet. I am hoping for Progreso.

Wendy- as per the 70+ views, many are obviously interested in this question, but apparently nobody has an answer yet. Are you on the 12/14/07 Voyager cruise?

We are on the 12/14 cruise and are watching the boards with interest to see what alternative port may be selected for Costa Maya.
Haven't seen anything on the Regent site yet.

Yes, I'm on that cruise. There's a roll-call thread here:

Nothing new on Costa Maya there either. I was told by my TA that we diligent internet types would probably know before she does.

Here is the news you've been waiting for:

"For passengers on Seven Seas Voyager's November 30 and December 14 cruises, the itinerary will add extra time in Cozumel and Key West in lieu of a visit to Costa Maya."

Basically, Regent is giving us another sea day. Would have preferred another port. Oh well. It still beats being home in December.

But they're giving us longer days in two other ports, both of which were basically half days. It will be interesting to see when they post the new itinerary on rssc.com, not sure how they will re-jig the times since Key West and Cozumel are at the beginning of the cruise, not the end. I wonder if they will add new excursions to those ports.
Frankly, a sea day on Voyager is pretty wonderful, especially with your own balcony, so I guess we get two in a row.

Will there be a reduction in Port Fees?

According to my TA, no reductions. Key West will be at the end of the cruise.

What! Oh shoot! They've eliminated Key West from the beginning! Darn, we had a meeting with Navigator all set up!
