Last week I posted about there not being any HAL coastal cruises, even though there's a "Coastal" category under "Destinations" on the HAL website. Well, I found them, and a lot more, when I clicked on "Panama Canal".
There are 1-6 day Pacific Coast itineraries sprinkled throughout the Panama Canal itineraries. You can't get fares but you can see the routes. If I were looking for a coastal cruise, it wouldn't occur to me to look under Panama Canal. Doesn't seem like a smart business move on HAL's part.
Some of the Panama Canal itineraries include the Amazon River. Again, I would look under South America, not Panama Canal.
Is it me or HAL that has a weird sense of geography?

BTW, there are 2 Pacific Northwest cruises posted for 2005. In this case, they're correctly listed under "Pacific Northwest".
