Does anyone know where the 'beach break' part of the tour takes place?
We are wanting to see some Mayan ruins, but hate to take up all day with a trip to Uxmal or Chichen Itza.

We did Uxmal and were glad we did as we had a van of 12 people versus the 7 busses (5 for passengers and 2 for crew only) that they took to Chitzen Itza.
Some friends we met in line at check in, that we bumped into that night, told us they did the ruins/beach break.
They said the ruins were tiny and that the beach was the beach right at the foot of the 6 mile pier. (it really is 6 miles)
They said it was OK, but they were pissed when we told them of our beach day at Nachi Cocum the day before in Cozumel.

Thanks! That helps a lot. I wasn't really excited about the Dzibichaltun ruins, anyway. From the pics I've seen, it does look very small.
So, we'll probably stick with Uxmal. I can get my 'beach day' in when we're in Cozumel.
