Are all the SS Suite balconies covered? I am getting ready to book a Nov 14th cruise on the Oosterdam. Any cabin recommendations?

We were in SS 6065 last March. We loved it. They are all about the same and all covered, mid-ship is better for motion. Avoid the rooms adjacent to the center elevator unless you enjoy being on show for all the elevator riders. Otherwise the verandas are spacious and private.

Yup - all SS's are covered.
I thought that our location on Navigation Deck halfway between the midship and aft stair towers was prime - little foot traffic yet close enough to the Lido pools to just run down to the suite in case we needed anything (like more sunscreen or a potty if all the public restrooms were busy...)

brian,
we were origially going to take a cabin the navigation deck, but switched to the upper verandah deck for fear of chair movements up on the lido eck. we were on the carribbean princess in april and stayed one deck below the pool deck, and heard chair movements, things dropping and music all night!

My travel agent just told me that I have been assigned cabin 6090 on the upper Verandah. Looks like a good location.

Brian,
We are booked in the same spot on the Westerdam as you (between midship and the aft stairs). I was thinking the same thing about being directly under the pool and how conveinent that would be; however, Ellen had a good point about deck chair noise above. Can you shed some light?
Thanks,
Linny
