Hi All,
Today we received a "Itinerary" change for the Journey departing Cape Liberty NJ for 10/27/07. Due to berthing conflicts the new schedule is port of Hamilton, Bermuda on 10/29, 10/30, 10/31 departing Hamilton at 8:30am. There will be no stop at Grand Turk, remainder of itinerary has remained the same. Two full nights in Bermuda instead of one overnight.....my first post, be kind to me.......

Hi, there, WhoIsCounting! Are you posting on the 10/27/07 Roll Call? - I don't remember seeing your name. Then again, you said this was your first post. We're very active, and very friendly. Please join us.

How did you find out about this change? I saw something here on CC. I don't believe I rec'd an e-mail from the cruiseline; did you?

I'm very disappointed in the change. Likely snorkelers will be quite upset, as GT is renowned for its snorkeling! And we don't even get another day in Bermuda - not with an 8:30am departure! Just another sea day.

Time to turn in for the night.

Hope to hear more from you, WhoIsCounting.

Nancy V

p.s. to Geoff - so you're joining us on the 27th too?! You must really like Azamara to be taking your 2nd cruise on it already!

I love Journey. There is something about that ship that really got to me. This is the first time I've done such a quick second trip and I can't wait.
Where are we all going to gather?

The itinerary change was faxed out to agencies last week... either Thurs or Fri. Can't remember now.

I just read the news about the change in the itinerary for the 10/27/07 sailing on the Azamara Journey! Is this really true? I haven't heard anything on this? Also, does anyone that has already cruised on the Azamara Journey know what the normal age group is of the people that do this cruise? Just wondering? Also, are they all couples? Or, are there singles that have done this cruise? I'm married, but my friend is single and she and I are doing this cruise together. I was just wondering if there was any chance that she may be able to meet someone on this upcoming cruise? LOL Does anyone know? I'd appreciate any input that past cruisers have on this subject. Thank you.

Just a quick question? Does anyone know what the typical age range of passengers on the Azamara Journey would be? Also, are they all couples, or do singles do this cruise also? I'd appreciate any/all input? Thanks again.

Yes, the itinerary has been changed. Yes, there will be a mix of couples and singles on this cruise. I think most of us on the roll call are probably 40+.

TravelOften -

It seems that most Journey to Bermuda cruises have had many passengers close to 60. However, many of these passengers were originally scheduled on the Zenith.

Also, the passenger age range many change as the itinerary changes away from the Bermuda run. As ECSLady indicated, the range on our cruise will likely be 40-60, which is probably the common range for Celebrity.

The change in itinerary was the exclusion of Grand Turks & Caicos from our cruise, with an additional evening in Hamilton added.

Please join us on the roll calls.
