Weather San Diego- hawaii ?

We are on the Zaandam april 3 to hawaii and back, can someone tell me
what the Weather are like cross the pacific at that time? thanks

In San Diego the days are warm and the nights are cool. Two days out of SD it gets warm and stays warm until you return. We love spring cruises.
And you will love the Zaandam. Have a wonderful cruise.

Sometimes the first 2 days out and the last 2 back can be cool and sometimes rough because you will be crossing the Alaska current which runs from North to South along the Pacific coast. We are leaving here on October 5 on Serenade OTS and will expect to wear either a windbreaker or sweater when out on deck or on the balcony. Pacific weather is probably the most unpredictable of all at this time of the year. But we have never let it stop us - this is Hawaii cruise no.5:)

This is my first post on this site.
We are on the same cruise in April.
We have done this cruise before. It is a good time of year for Hawaii.
It is usually pretty windy aboard ship, at least on our balcony, but it's not very cold.
The weather in Hawaii is very nice in April---not too hot, no rain.
It will be a fun cruise.

Greetings to two of you posters! I will also be on the April 3rd cruise to Hawaii. The last time i went was in October and am looking forward to going again.

This past April I needed my lightweight winter jacket in San Diego. There was a spring cold snap, plus you're right on the water with its cool/cold breezes. First 2-3 days were cool/rainy. Needed a sweater or long sleeved shirt if you went outside the ship.

We are on the Zaandamn Mar. 4 SD - Hawaii. Im told the Zaandamn has a retractable dome on the pool. Do you still feel the coolness ??
